Tommy Hilfiger is returning to New York this season with his Tommy x Zendaya collection and a slew of innovative initiatives surrounding his TommyNow see-now-buy-now event.
Hilfiger last showed in New York for fall 2016. Since that initial presentation, the worldwide tour touched down in Los Angeles for spring 2017, London for fall 2017, Milan for spring 2018, Shanghai for fall 2018 and then Paris for spring 2019. Building on the trend of elevating the shopping experience through VR technology, it is the first time that such a web-based VR experience is introduced at such scale. The VR functionality is available via desktop and mobile via tommy.
Further, a Tommy x Zendaya experience bus will be parked outside the Apollo on the day of the show. The collection will be exclusively available for purchase ahead of its global introduction that evening. The following week, the bus will travel to a New York City location for consumers to browse and shop runway styles. The interior and exterior of the bus feature burgundy tones, the TZH monogram logo and a snake-skin inspired print.
