How nice for her that she has a job that allows her to stay home for an extended leave AND pays her more than enough so she can afford to stay home. People who make millions and then decree what the middle class 'should do' irritate me.

Longest maternity leave I’ve ever seen one take!! She left in April. Hope Jenna doesn’t come back until January to make it even. HodaAndJenna I’ve stopped watching the show anyway.
Most moms dont make the money she does or have the option to take off that long....unrealistic
Not many employers will allow such an extended maturity leave. At least not paid. And I don’t know anybody working that is doing it by choice. It costs money to live. Millennials are having babies and, as you already know, they don’t have savings.
Obviously, Hoda's 'full maternity leave' and most woman's 'full maternity leave' are two entirely different lengths of time. Most of us, would've given ANYTHING....

This world 🌍 needs to force especially those big companies to grant full maternity. The newborn needs it the mother & family need it. It’s so unethical that some only get 4-6 weeks. Blessed when I took it was married & my X could afford me out a year.
Unfortunately that’s not an option for a lot of mothers. It should be a year for everyone!
What’s full maternity leave My job offered no paid maternity leave and when I took it the 1st time I had to pay for my own insurance while I was gone. So I went unpaid for 8 weeks, plus got a bill for $1500 for our health care.

Thankfully as a Canadian I had a full year off for each of my children!!! ❤️
I got 4 weeks. And i had to save all my vacation and sick for it. Not everyone gets the luxury of 'full maternity leave'....🙄

Maternity leave is not mandatory, the last time I checked! Correct me if I am wrong, peeps.
I love hodakotb has a job that can accommodate long maternity leaves I think it’s wonderful. Unfortunately as a small biz owner I can’t afford to provide that extended benefit beyond 12 weeks.
Not for the average working mom. Some mothers have 6 weeks. That’s it.
