'This is the first time we see a Latina superhero, and that could be really inspiring for kids all around the world.” DoraMovie

If you want to quickly understand the enduring appeal and impact of Dora the Explorer — who gets the live-action treatment in this weekend’s “Dora and the Lost City of Gold” — director James Bobin has a story for you.

In fact, even Dora’s pet monkey, Boots, and cartoon nemesis, Swiper, are played by Latinx actors Danny Trejo and Benicio Del Toro, respectively. From left, Eva Longoria, Isabela Moner and Michael Peña star as a family of explorers in"Dora and the Lost City of Gold." “It was rough in the beginning, I’m not going to lie,” he said. “My roommates were all auditioning for way better stuff, and there were more auditions [for them]. But I feel like it’s kind of tough for everyone in a way. And I feel like it’s up to you to work through that.”

Eva Longoria, left, Isabela Moner and Michael Peña star in"Dora and the Lost City of Gold" from Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies. “When they told me about the plan of making a Dora movie, I was like ‘hmm,’ ” said Derbez. “It sounded boring at the beginning because what is it going to be about? But the [film] is completely different from the cartoon. It has the same elements, but it goes deeper so you see a three-dimensional character. I did it. While on a trip, I found a movie theater a few thousand miles away from the regular places to watch movies. Encantador y bello. The film “Dora and the Lost City of Gold” (2019) deserves such an assessment. If Trump can play the same way, then I will eat my movie ticket.

ent superhero is a stretch

When would the world stop dividing people. Defining us this or that is anti humanity.

Ganggang🤘💖

This would be my third weekend movie if I hadn’t gone on a trip. I will have to search the movie theater at the place of arrival.

Really? I haven't seen an add. He is not spending money on ads because he knows he has already lost the campaign. Yeah I see them on TV.. He seems a little obsessed. 🙄
