I always choose aisle (and a low row when flying coach). Honestly, I thought that would be the selfish seat (I’m so glad it’s not...but love the independence of not asking others if you need out of your seat, ease of access to overhead, getting off faster, and less stuffy. 😊

I can usually go the length of a flight without needing to stand up or go to the bathroom. Therefore, in choosing the window seat, I'm not only avoiding having to move for others, I'm making it easier for my neighbors to do what they want. It's mutually beneficial.

Lame article and assumption, all people that take the aisle (that I know) like the legroom or have to use the bathroom a lot. I like the window on long flights cuz I can lean on few wall to relax and give middle seat the arm rest. I usually never get up unless over 6-8 hours.
