Go only where you can afford. Pay cash or don’t go. 18 year olds don’t understand what they are getting into.
For those commenting and making generalizations.. what if you went to state school, now have a full time job and are still paying student loans? Not everyone is lazy or lucky like you all.
I know ppl that took 10 yrs to get their degrees because they worked and went to school thereby taking longer but not having the debt. Better choices.
They should be made to pay them off like the rest of us did.

Why did these students take on so much debt? Live home. Go to a state school. I know people who went to country bumpkin schools and are super successful! Unless you go to law school or medical school, you should not have a loan.
Community College, community college, community college. I get it if you don’t have one in your area, but it’s a great option if you do. Then you start working afterwards and pay it off like everything else. You drive a used car, you don’t buy the biggest TV, eat dinner in.

Get a job and pay it off. On a teacher's salary of 31,000 a year, I paid off $30,000 in student loans 2 years. People act like they need free college in order to survive. Nope. You just gotta live a frugal lifestyle and budget.
Perhaps students will have to work and pay off a bachelor’s degree before they enroll in a master’s degree.
Your student loans are not the world’s problems. Anyone who wants a free education has the option to serve in the military.

nothing, stay out of our lives...if you use common sense, it's the reaction to pell grants, where were done with good intention, but the reaction by making college more affordable, tuition went up, bottom line tuition is high due to professors making 6 figures. period!
