Love Island's Irish duo set to earn whopping €500,000 each a year after show

Hey aren’t the bookies’ favourites to take the €55,000 jackpot – but Maura Higgins and Greg O’Shea are the real Love Island winners.

While everyone from Leo Varadkar to Amy Schumer has been singing Maura’s praises as this year’s “break-out star”, Greg has been dubbed “the real cash cow” despite only showing up in the Spanish villa last week. Influenced Clothing owner Michael Coyle, from Co Galway, told the Irish Sunday Mirror brands will look at them both “very differently”.

“He is a rugby player and has a law degree – he is every marketer’s dream and is not controversial at all. With an Instagram audience of 1.3 million, Michael said Maura will be attractive to cosmetics, health and fitness, and clothing brands, while lifestyle and sports brands will have their eye on Greg, despite amassing just 307,000 Instagram followers.
