NEW YORK — A business dispute took CBS off the air for millions of satellite television customers of DirecTV and AT&T U-verse on Saturday.
CBS was black on satellite systems owned by AT&T in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and 14 other large cities across the United States. Both the television network and AT&T hurled accusations at each other for failure to agree on what CBS is paid for programming. CBS said that while it didn’t want its customers caught in the middle, it is determined to fight for fair value. The network warned that the loss of CBS programming “could last a long time.”
AT&T countered in a statement provided to Variety that CBS is “a repeat blackout offender” that has pulled its programming from other carriers before in order to get its way. Other cities affected are Philadelphia, Dallas, San Francisco, Boston, Atlanta, Tampa, Seattle, Detroit, Minneapolis, Miami, Denver, Sacramento, Pittsburgh and Baltimore.
Maybe if liberal politicians spent a little more time thinking about how to properly deal with the temperatures of 2019... rather than pursuing the fool's errand of trying to control Earth's temperatures 80 years from now... the lights would be on in Brooklyn right now.

We lost CBS on July 4th. Direct TV now. We stream through Roku.
We never had these types of problems prior to ATT purchasing DIRECTV underscoring never should have been a deal in the first place.. pissed off 48hours CBSNews wtf🤬

Same for many Dish network customers as well earlier in the week in Vegas, Atlanta, St. Louis, many other markets as well. No CBS for many others as well on Dish.
I get the feeling DIRECTV doesn’t play well with others. In the 6 years I had them, there was a continuous string of channels that would announce were being hardballed into contracts, asking for us to call and apply pressure. Cut the cord, never been happier.
