CAROL VORDERMAN joked about her age amid a flirtatious interview with actor Owen Teale as the Countdown favourite admitted she was “all of a flutter” on her BBC Radio Wales show today.

Letting the studio fall silent for effect, Owen then replied in a low growl: “Houston, we have a problem.”
