I am so fucking sick of this show and the media attention it gets. Why it was ever allowed on the air but OneDayAtATime it’s gets canceled is beyond me. Makes no sense. One show knows how to handle mental health and the other one is a example of how it shouldn’t be shown

This show should never have been created. Teenagers are very impressionable. It's hard talking a 30 year old into smoking, teens usually not so much. When I was in high school 3 classmates killed themselves, teens need counseling and encouragement, not this show.
i mean it was bound to happened. i remember when i saw it when it first came out i was so shocked. it felt real, horrifying and nothing I’ve ever seen before.
It doesn’t need to be edited. Edit that scene in season two? Yes. But season 1 did show how ugly and messy and irresponsible and damaging it can be... without shock value.
As someone who has attempted suicide 2times in my life I believe it’s a huge mistake to alter it. Because it is that graphic & then some. People SHOULD look at it and be horrified. SuicidePrevention
Weak decision, tbh. It was honest and real and respected for that.
And this is why you should buy DVD's. Companies can't alter footage once you own it on disk.
