Two doctors were on hand at Sydney's Defqon 1 music festival where Diana Nguyen, 21, and Joseph Pham, 23, died after taking MDMA pills.

The most senior doctor at Sydney's deadly Defqon.1 music festival had two doses of a potentially life-saving medication and no clear figures on the amount of other drugs on hand.

The Brisbane-based emergency registrar said he took one dose each of two muscle relaxants that help to get a tube down the throat of critically ill patients. "I found it extremely difficult to deliver care to as there was no team leader established," Mr Mascorella told the inquest on Friday."I found the lack of leadership and crew resource management of the Event Medical Services crew to be completely abhorrent."

Take drugs and Die. too bad they were to stupid to avoid narcotics. But then clear thinking has never been a trait of the young.

Are we really going to start blaming the doctors for people doing stupid things?

Challenging situations. Can always improve care provision, but these people took drugs they knew could B life threatening.Even if pill testing was in use this could still have happened. People must take responsibility 4 their poor decisions&realise consequences can include death

Only one doctor at dance festival attended by 11,000 people, inquest hearsAn inquest hears the only doctor contracted to work at last year's Lost Paradise music festival, where 22-year-old Joshua Tam died, was a GP not equipped to deal with life-threatening MDMA reactions. Take a look at this data and make up your own mind, how many medical staff a festival should be funding. If it is less than an all day event then divide the number accordingly, and make allowances for a younger and healthier cohort. I think 10 is correct. doctors dont dance ?
