DaveBautista I like STX. But outside of Bad Moms they haven’t made very good movies that are marketable and sell. Sad to see them in so much financial trouble. In the age of big studios maybe Netflix could help them out.

Dammit! I was looking forward to this.

But STX Entertainment’s problems don’t end thereThe Burbank studio has been forced to combat persistent rumors that it is in financial trouble after a string of box-office flops. Let's face it, 'ugly animation' is pushed because the tech is valued more than content; no artistic development required for ugly characters -- which would require real heart and soul uosetting current Hollywood applecart to stoke social instability & global hatred & violence. Well if you make watered down garbage like this, chances are you're likely never to make it. 50/50 chance, let's face it. Shame, movie was precious.
