If museums and magazines can have celebrity curators, how about other stodgy enterprises, asks columnist Joe Queenan: Amtrak? The Post Office? The NY Mets?

A few years ago, museums started inviting guest curators to use their hallowed precincts to mount exhibits. Actors , pop stars and writers have been invited to curate shows at museums as prestigious as the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles and the National Gallery in London.

Magazines have made similar moves, reasoning that the sheer fame of non-journalists like Michelle Obama , Roseanne Barr , Bono , Bill Gates...
