It was truly a night to celebrate Ghanaian excellence all through the different entertainment industries, with many notable actors, musicians, artists, models, nominees, as well as guests who came together for the annual celebration.
Nina Ricchie, Canadian-based Ghanaian artist who won the Best Female act award says that this was not only her first nomination, but her first award. As she accepted her award, Ricchie states, “People are stealing Africa’s sounds, and it is time to pay homage to Africa.” Celebrity promoter and CEO of Duke Concept Entertainment Osita ‘Duke’ Ugeh, along with Modesta, presented the “Best Promoter Award.” The award was given to ‘Big 5,’ who are best known for throwing epic parties, and their weekly “Afrobeats and Brunch” at Le Souk.
