“The Ministry will not compromise with any propaganda and indoctrination in private institutions that tarnish the image and name of the country,” he said in a statement posted on the ministry’s official Facebook page. “The students’ involvement goes against the nation’s policy and could tarnish the country’s name,” he added.
Students, if wrong, need more education, not overbearing rebukes and investigations. The Minister would have done better to engage them with facts, not threats.
