Listening to them play, you’re struck by the fact that they pulled off the trick of traversing a huge musical distance – from the taut post-punk of A Forest to the diseased-sounding psychedelia of Shake Dog Shake to the selection of more-or-less pure pop tracks that forms the set’s final 30 minutes – while always sounding exactly like the Cure. For all the dark power of the tracks they play from Disintegration, the latter proves their highlight of the show, partly because it’s unexpected.
Saw them in Miami a couple of years ago, absolutely amazing concert.

There were two tracks from 1984’s The Top. And one from the 1994 The Crow soundtrack. But, good review. I would have given them 5 stars however. That performance is going to go down in history and is going to start a new relationship between millennials and music.
FOUR stars? I'm assuming you dropped the 5th because The Cure aren't Stormzy, which seems to be your reviewers' benchmark for if anyone's good at Glastonbury2019 for some reason. Don't get me wrong he was great but come on. The Cure were magical. 👌

The Cure were incredible 🖤 loved them since ‘81 as a fresh faced teenager- the melancholy of their songs and Robert Smith’s voice are a priceless addition to my life story

Awesome, career spanning set with a great balance of doomy Cure and pop Cure. RS in great form and singing as good as ever. Band super tight. Nice review but has to be 5 stars imo.
