Jon Stewart: 'Because that’s how s*** gets done around here, mister!'

Last week, Jon Stewart plead with Congress to reauthorize the 9/11 victim compensation fund.

Stewart criticized Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, saying he always leaves the vote until the last minute. "Just understand that the next time you’re being robbed or your house is on fire," said Stewart on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert."

I loved this.

fred_guttenberg 'Trade jabs'? Really? It is misinformation to frame it this way. Watch McConnell try to defend himself single handedly blocking and manipulating 9/11 responder funding and Jon Stewart call him out on it desperate to get Mitch to do the right thing.

I have a question. So Did the 9/11 victims get the funding Stewart asked for ? ( or R our elected “leaders” ( both sides) still not doing their jobs ?
