Quavers to Quadratics sees children play with ideas common to music and science, led by undergraduate science and music students.
Children from St Brigid's in the Coombe and Knock Mhuire in Tallaght take part in a warm-up before splitting off into three rooms. "It's all about seeing sound waves, seeing how the vibrations look on different machines, and being experimental and inquisitive in science and music," said Julia."I was interested in music, but now I think I really like science as well. I want to try the piano," said Maya. "Quavers to Quadratics sees children explore themes that are common to science and music," said Dr Bergin.
