Pokwang’s ‘Oda sa Wala’ up for best picture in Malaysian film fest

Pokwang has been given a nod in the best actress category for her role in "Oda sa Wala" while her co-star Joonee Gamboa is being recognized as best supporting actor. They are joined by "Liway" stars Glaiza de Castro and Dominic Roco. The other nominations "Oda sa Wala" got are for its director, Dwein Baltazar, for best screenplay, and for best cinematography.

It premiered at the 2018 QCinema International Film Festival, where it swept the top awards, including best film.
