Former workers at the Chernobyl power plant have disputed how the world's worst nuclear accident was portrayed in the hit TV series.
"Possibly, Anatoly Dyatlov became the main anti-hero in the show because that was how he was perceived by the power plant's workers, his subordinates and top-management, in the beginning. Later this perception changed,""The operators were afraid of him. When he was present at the block, it created tension for everyone. But no matter how strict he was, he was still a high-level professional," he added.

Just an FYI : The show stated that the 3 divers survived, and that 2 of the divers are alive today. They did not say when/how the 3rd diver died.
In 1994, I read Grigori Medvedev's book, 'The Truth about Chernobyl', published in 1991 and I reread it again yesterday. He is a nuclear engineer that worked on building that plant. Mazin's series was not a documentary but drawn from actual events and attitudes at the time.
They should be charged with crimes against humanity, they irradiated half Europe. And covered that, instead of telling what happened. They exposed millions to their crap and now they have the nerve to criticize a movie?
Just because comrade doesn't like or appreciate how an actual event is portrayed doesn't mean he's right. Remember that the official death toll is still officially 31. We know that's not true.
