SINGAPOREAN singer-songwriter JJ Lin (pic) was caught parking his Ferrari 458 illegally in Taipei, reported China Press.

The 38-year-old Golden Melody Awards winner, who was wearing a RM40,000 Rolex watch at the time, parked his car by the roadside before heading off for coffee with a friend nearby.

But he was said to be constantly looking out for his car, which is worth RM2.6mil, while dining at the alfresco eatery on Sunday.On the illegal parking, Lin’s manager Xu Pei Yun said: “JJ set a bad example. He has apologised sincerely for his action.”> A mother turned her son in to assist with investigations into the robbery of a convenience store in Kota Kinabalu, Sin Chew Daily reported.

She took her 15-year-old son to the police station after learning about his alleged involvement in the robbery. Initial investigations showed that the boy and four other teenagers, armed with knives, had robbed a female cashier of her handphone and cigarettes before fleeing the scene in two cars on May 23.Sabah police chief Datuk Omar Mammah said four boys, all aged 15, were remanded to assist in the investigation.He said one of them was brought to the police station by his mother, adding that a fifth suspect, an 18-year-old boy, remained at large.
