Okaeben, who spoke at a press briefing in Benin City yesterday, reminded the governor that they both were political children of Adams Oshiomhole and had vowed to stand with the All Progressives Congress, APC, national chairman even in the face of attempt to undermine him.
Okaeben revealed that he was being targeted because he advised both Oshiomhole and Obaseki to ‘jaw jaw’ instead of ‘war war.’ He stated that the reason he was stopped from contesting for a seat in the National Assembly was because of his allegiance to the national chairman of the APC, Comrade Oshiomhole.
“What is happening now is political distraction. Some persons have set up a vault to launch second term campaign for Obaseki. The only way they can make money is to tell him to stay away from Oshiomhole so that they can make more money to buy property in Dubai.
