Child poverty is the “new normal” in parts of Britain. That’s according to findings released today by the End Child Poverty coalition, a group of more than 70 leading charities and organisations, who have tracked the huge rise in child poverty since 2010. More than half of children are now living in poverty in some constituencies in the country, with the fastest rises hitting the poorest areas. The London borough of Tower Hamlets, for example, even has the majority of its infants in hardship .
Its 2019. When you read the stats, poverty, austerity, food banks increasing day to day... you wonder why and how we arrived at this place. Blaming peoples predicaments on individuals rather than the bad social /economic policies of Government is the start of hate and division.
And materialism and success is being made the main goal in life. Bit like Communism, Godless. We jettison the righteousness and faith of Christianity at our own peril.
