Ben was promoting his BBC Three series Killer Magic back then, when he slated the ITV talent show. “The producers have in their heads the outcome they want, so they either secretly like you or hate you. It’s a big risk.” A source close to the show said: “Ben feels a bit silly since the quotes have come out and has spoken to bosses about them. He’s riding on the buzz of Saturday night and is focusing on making Britain’s Got Talent a success.”
