The sad news was confirmed by the Director General of the National Film and Video Censors Board , Adebayo Thomas, on Saturday, according to The Cable.Recently, Ugbomah had gone public seeking for help, to treat a brain ailment.
The filmmaker, who received a national honour of Officer of the Order of the Niger from the federal government, had been scheduled to undergo surgery on Monday.
