President Trump at the first anniversary celebration of First Lady Melania Trump's Be Best campaign on May 7 at the White House.
The New York Times reported Tuesday that Donald Trump’s businesses lost more than $1 billion from 1985 to 1994, based on tax information the newspaper acquired.it had acquired printouts from the future president’s official IRS tax transcripts, including figures from his federal tax forms. The newspaper said Trump reported business losses of $46.1 million in 1985, and a total of $1.17 billion in losses for the 10-year period.
After comparing Trump's information with that of other “high-income earners,” the Times concluded that Trump “appears to have lost more money than nearly any other individual American taxpayer.” Because of his business losses, the newspaper reported, Trump did not pay income taxes for eight of the 10 years.
So he will be starring in the BIGGEST LOSER reboot?
Total lies. Fake news
Liberals: being a businessman doesn’t mean you’ll be a good president. Also liberals: being a horrible businessman definitely means you’ll be a horrible president. Convenience is a bitch, isn’t it?
*yawn*
Bad president. Bad manager. But what a crook!
CON
Leaks leaks leaks, and we complain about foriegn or high tech data leaks!
Was dan rather the source?
Yeah, Trump already admitted that.
Hey, if you’re gonna do something, do it BIGLY
People swiped most or all and then schemed to get him into the presidency for even bigger theft on their parts. Amazing USA still has a positive treasury balance.
Yeah, we fucking knew that. Everyone who owned a casino on the Eastern seaboard lost hella money in those years.
I wonder what Trump's loss/profit or tax return has to do with his performance as POTUS? Filthy politics.
This headline is misleading. Get ur finance folks in on this and republish.
He runs his business like a mobster, uses ‘em to keep money in constant flow without owing a dime in taxes, then he busts out leaving everyone else on the hook. MafiaDon RICO
And your point many many years ago is ? Or this is related to his Presidency 🤪just asking🤣😂
85 and 94 ... you’re pathetic
And what exactly is tax information? Notice they don’t say they got his tax returns and even if they did there are legit reasons to declare a loss. Such garbage reporting & this is why he doesn’t want to show his returns. You have no clue what they mean
Next you'll try and tell us Uber hasn't made a profit yet!
One is the best articles about the connection if Trump and money:
Don't care; I'm still making bank with him in office, so this means zilch to me and many, many other Americans. Deal with it.
Tax returns that were obtained how? Tax returns from 34 years ago...🙄. When Atlantic City all but folded up. 🙄🙄🙄. Your desperation might be funny if it weren’t so pathetic.
Depending on his situation, he may have been able to write off some if not all of it. Notice his net gain wasn't mentioned... More biased reporting...? MSM
So what. Developers constantly win and lose. If your taking loses why would yo be paying taxes. Taxes are for earnings not loses.
Who cares?
For the non huggers, they are not shocked at this. The smell of the con permeated for some time now.
What a loser. And it makes it easier to believe that Trump is in hock to bad people that he laundered money for. He needs to go.
Most of us don’t understand high level finance. Tax losses and actual out of pocket losses are two different animals. Still a multi billionaire.
Loser in Chief?

Offsetting capital gains with capital losses os a classic... Maybe take a long hard look at those 'losses'.
Depreciation is magic for real estate investors.
The Times doesn’t understand the difference between actually losing money and generating tax deductions
