In a nightclub, the women’s loos are not just the women’s loos; they’re where temporary female friendships are forged. I once met a girl who told me I looked like SZA, and when she found out my name was Lolly and I found out hers was Molly, we became firm friends for the next four minutes. The festival loo is a different beast, however: a horrific symbol of constant, unfettered depravity. And yet I believe there’s always light to be found in the dark.
