After a decade fronting Oakland garage-rock faves Shannon and the Clams, singer Shannon Shaw last year released her first solo album. Produced by the Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach, Shannon in Nashville “sounds like Roy Orbison lost in the Brill Building,” as Jenn Pelly wrote on Pitchfork.com.
