WASHINGTON - U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said during a television interview on Wednesday that the United States was prepared to take military action to stem the ongoing turmoil in Venezuela. “Military action is possible. If that’s what’s required, that’s what the United States will do,” Pompeo said in an interview with Fox Business Network, but added that the United States would prefer a peaceful transition of power in Venezuela.

But whsevervyou do do not mention the oil

Another American dictator speaking

JustusErb3 Can sombody tell Pompeo, that Military Action against Venezuela is illegal.... and dont forget: our enemy sits in Washington!

🎶Endless Waaaaarrrrrrr🎶

USA. Want oil and $$$$$$$$$$$$$ of Venezuela to continue their imperial policy on earth and to give American s money to Israel

I do not consent to this war, and literally no one I know thinks this is a good idea. But we have 'bipartisan consensus', which goes to show how unrepresented most Americans are in their government.

Many innocent Venezuelans will die. I repeat, many innocent Venezuelans will die. Pompeo doesn't give a rat's A$$ about prolonged dying in Venezuela.

THE USA WANTS TO GET THEIR HANDS ON VENEZUELA'S OIL ,BY CREATING CHAOS AND SUPPORTING OPPOSITION FORCES JUST LIKE THEY DID IS SYRIA WITH NO SUCCES !!

And exactly what would be the goal of such an action? What vital national security interest do we have in Venezuela that would 'require' this?

So Trump needs a war for distraction purposes - it had to happen I suppose.

A good idea but this time it won't be Iraq, Libya, Syria like it will be a big disaster for the USA, for you will be fighting the whole world!! Keep up Yankees!!

sounds like it's required to me. Put the hammer down.

Your second Vietnam!

Trump looking for headlines?

That might make sense, but the fact is the majority of citizens don't want United States involvement.

Imperialist hitler racism. Stolen petrol people Venezuela. Shameless

👍👍👌❤️🇺🇸💪✌️

It's 100% not required.

Given America’s intervention history, I think the last thing a country would want is America’s “help”

🙏❤️💔😢

The last time USA tried a coup in a country they where throwing helicopters overboard in retreat

U.S. w/b furious if another country thought it should intervene w/military support on our soil, in our behalf! Take, e.g., current border crises we seem t/b struggling with. What would our reactions be? ''What the hell?!'' Is this excuse to leverage Eric Prince against Russians?

This could be used as another distraction by the White House, to deflect from trump’s problem. The GOPbastards are not looking for the truth. Listening to their questioning, shows they are not looking for the truth. GOPCorruption TrumpTreason ImpeachBarr ImpeachTrumpNow

What would be the 'requirement'? my guess is that they are going to be fabricating something that would make military action happen. False flag imminent?

What if KremlinRussia_E also flexes it’s muscles there?

Here’s comes the military distraction for the GOP

Since Venezuela discovered massive oils: You have following options: 1. Intelligence report regarding nukes of mass destruction 2. Venezuelan needs Democracy 3. Baghdadi in Venezuela 4. Venz spring

Oil. It’s about control of their oil. It’s the basis of all wars.

All for the Oil. DerangedDonald doesn't care one bit about Venezuela, he Despises Latinos.

And by this same arrogant statement, tens of thousands able-bodied men across the globe start individual preparations to travel to (and fight for) Venezuela...and for the rest of frightened, oppressed weak Nations. USA never learns! Yearning for freedom is NOT a US phenomenon!

I hope not-Russia supports Maduro and this could cause so much friction and possibly war

So tempting to support this tbh Che Venezuela Two, three, many Vietnams...

Oil politics. Who has a lot of oil? The USA, Russia, and Saudi Arabia. Who is not allowed to sell oil on the world market? Venezuela, Iraq, Iran and anyone that the WH does not like.

Jesus Christ why do Americans keep falling for this shit?

❤️

Oh, yeah. Because intervention has worked so well in the past. I think the Venezuelans have this, Mike. Your involvement is unnecessary.
