It was a long and strange day for a litter of Shih Tzu puppies stolen from an Abbotsford home on Tuesday morning.
Shortly after noon, via Facebook, Classon wrote a post stating: “Someone broke into my house this morning and stole a litter of 4 week old puppies. They didn’t take mom and she is frantic and full of milk. They are not ready to leave their mom and all have loving families waiting for them. Please if you see or hear of Shih Tzu pups get a hold of me or call Abbotsford police.”
“The complainant said four-week old puppies had been stolen from her home sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 9:15 a.m., while the house was unoccupied. The burglar entered through the backyard,” Bird said. Reached following the update that the pups had been found, Bird said she had been told that a Vancouver police officer had seized the puppies from someone who was trying to sell them “outside an art gallery.”
