Fans have turned on Hollywood star and Tenacious D singer Jack Black following bandmate Kyle Gass’s sick joke about the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump. The comment was delivered during the rock duo’s show at the International Convention Centre in Sydney on Sunday night, when Black brought out Gass a 64th birthday cake and asked him to make a wish. “Don’t miss Trump next time” Gass said as he blew out the candles.

“Imagine going to see a comedy band that made dark jokes and yall terminate their tour because of how boring you are. It was a joke, they made jokes. JB and KG, they’re good human beings with good intent.” “Everyone’s all up for dark humour till it’s about Trump or religion omfg,” another wrote. “Hi Jack, I’m French and I don’t give a flying freak about Trump or whatever happened at your show. Keep rocking.
