Shark warning as predators circle hurt whale at Jakes Corner in Kalbarri

A shark warning has been issued for the Kalbarri coast where an injured whale is attracting the predators. The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development issued the warning for the Kalbarri coast after the whale was spotted at popular surf break Jakes Corner about 9.28am on Tuesday. The department said the whale was attracting sharks and it was possible they could come nearer the shore along the Shire of Northampton coast.
