AMANDA Holden has been announced as the new face of the Heart FM Breakfast show, having landed a £3million deal.
Determined to realise her dream she attended Mountview Academy of Arts in London, but Amanda didn’t have her first television break until 1991.At the age of 19 Amanda made her TV debut when she appeared on an episode of Blind Date, hosted by the late Cilla Black, where she revealed her ideal man was Jack Nicholson.
The first series made Amanda close to £1 million, and she has since gone on to film a further 12 series of the popular ITV show, with her show reported to be £500,000 a year.Her appearance on Britain’s Got Talent lead to a spike in presenting roles as well as a return to the stage.
