The victim was miraculously saved thanks to the quick actions delivered by members of public and emergency services who rushed to the scene at 3.30am on October 6 last year. The eight men seen in the footage have now been jailed for a combined total of 75 years after being convicted of a string of offences at Warwick Crown Court.
Detectives launched an investigation and pieced together the sequence of events from CCTV to identify those involved. Williams, of Coventry, was jailed for 22 years and Adabie, of Birmingham, was caged for 21 years after being found guilty of attempted murder.
