The first-ever Solar Flare Music Festival is taking place on August 3 and it’s set up to be a day full of entertainment. The idea for a festival, though, is two years in the making. In 2022, UH student Madison Elaine wanted to know more about Houston’s music scene. Somewhere she can find artists, bands, and concerts all in one place. So, she createdIt’s a free resource for anyone looking to expand their music taste within the city. She started posting anonymously online and on social media and soon enough their anniversary party saw a crowd of over 300 people.has been months in the making and now it is less than a month away.
