The Inland Revenue Board says they will bar people from travelling if they fail to settle their outstanding tax.

PETALING JAYA: The Inland Revenue Board today defended its decision to blacklist an award-winning actress from travelling overseas, saying it was merely following procedures.

“And even then, we will inform taxpayers that they will be barred from travelling through the mail,” he said. “It is not going to resolve anything and will only complicate matters as it is giving the wrong impression to the public.”

That's not how it works dear. You pay and then appeal. Not sit around and hope for the best. LHDN is one of the efficient gov agency... how you guys differ by 450k is quote amazing, but I'm with LHDN on this.

They have been on a one way communication, not enuf empathy in dealing with cases with exception, just take the easy way out by saying we follow the books

Bullying. Answer her asllegation that she's settled her taxes sand due the refund from LHDN. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely. Don't we learn anything from MO1. LHDN is accountable to Rakyat and should answer the complaints so stop bullying.

Malaysia is one large prison.

What if their incomes depend on their works travelling abroad? And what about a big segment of those undeservedly-exempted from income taxes under various disguises? Haiz .. ~
