A new thriller series called The Night Caller is launching on Channel 5 with a star-studded cast, including Sean Pertwee. The actor, known for his roles in You and Gotham, stars as Lawrence, a late-night radio talk show host - but away from TV has gone through a tragic child loss with his wife of 25 years.
However, Tony's understanding of Lawrence's "worldview" takes a dangerous twist. What begins as a relationship transforms into a hazardous fixation, leading Tony to the stark realisation that the real Lawrence is not the man he portrays himself to be. The actor has been married to his wife, Jacqueline Jane 'Jacqui' Hamilton-Smith, a make-up artist, since June 1999. On 12 June, Sean marked their 25th wedding anniversary with a gushing tribute on Instagram.
He shared at the time: "My wife, Jacqui, gave birth to our twin boys in 2001 and we lost one. We lost Gilbert while Alfred survived, which was a miracle because they were born prematurely at 25 weeks. Gilbert lived only four days and Freddy survived after being in a coma for three-and-a-half months.
