The Beatles, arguably one of the most renowned bands in history, originated in Liverpool in 1960. Their music continues to be cherished by both young and old.
Despite landing in America for the first time on February 7, 1964, it appears that Americans are only now understanding why the Beatles is spelled with an A - not a double E like the insect. According to TikTok, most Brits are aware of this clever play on words, but our American friends are just discovering it.
It seems Emily wasn't alone in her discovery. One Scouser commented: "I'm from Liverpool, and this only just clicked for me," Another added: "Wait whaaat? ! And now it suddenly seems obvious," while a third confessed: "I actually didn't know that."However, it seems some avid Beatles fans were already aware of this - and some claimed most Brits are in the know.
