One of Shifty Shellshock's final interviews before his death a fortnight ago has resurfaced and, in it, he said he was feeling sober and happy.Shellshock, whose given name was Seth Binzer, was the co-founder and lead vocalist for the popular rap-rock group Crazy Town, best known for their 2001 No. 1 hit 'Butterfly.'The singer was found dead at his home aged 49 years old on June 24, according to the Los Angeles Medical Examiner.
'Seth Binzer, after struggling with addiction and Crazy Town's rapid success with 'Butterfly,' never was able to reach out on a more successful level to deal with his addictions,' Hubberman told the publication. 'We all tried, but ultimately we all failed, or Shifty would still be here.'He added: 'The cause of death was a combination of prescription drugs and street-purchased drugs.
