Alejandro Garnahco has sent an emphatic message to Manchester United teammate Lisandro Martinez after his heroics for Argentina.
A penalty shootout was needed to decide the winner, with Argentina claiming a 4-2 victory over spot-kicks. Julian Alvarez, Nicolas Otamendi, Alexis Mac Allister and Gonzalo Montiel all scored their penalties, while Lionel Messi was the only Argentina player to miss from the spot. Garnacho was an unused substitute in Argentina's victory, but it was Martinez who was the star of the match. The United defender scored his first goal for his country to help guide the team to the semi-final of the Copa America.
