The omnipresent Strahan has been missing from his perch as a host on “Good Morning America,” which is watched by millions during the weekdays, since June 21. It has raised concern from many of his fans, citing a “source familiar with the matter,” Strahan is simply “away on vacation.” He is expected to be back on the airwaves during the week of July 7, according to Decider, which is owned by the New York Post Digital Network.
To fill Strahan’s anchor spot, ABC has turned to correspondents Rebecca Jarvis and Gio Benitez to be alongside George Stephanopoulos and Robin Roberts..
