THERE will be a host of different television coverage tonight as the polls near closing in the General Election

.Tom Bradby is set to return to lead the coverage on STV tonight – as he did in 2015, 2017 and 2019 – with the broadcaster set to share its programming with ITV rather than running a distinct Scottish offering.Scotland is hosting an overnight television programme presented by Martin Geissler, starting at 9:55pm on Thursday on BBC One Scotland and ending at 9:30am on Friday.

The Rest is Politics co-hosts former Labour spin doctor Alastair Campbell and former Tory minister Rory Stewart will be joining the programming throughout the night, as well as stars from the hit TV-watching television series Gogglebox.We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories.
