Motorists travelling along the Federal Highway should be aware of upcoming lane closures and traffic diversions due to LRT3 project-related works. These closures will occur in three stages starting tomorrow on 5th July until 20th July 2024, between 11pm and 5am, impacting both Kuala Lumpur and Klang-bound traffic near the Petronas and Shell petrol stations.
According to the project’s contractor, Setia Utama LRT 3, stage 1 will see the leftmost and middle lanes of the highway closed for Klang-bound traffic on 5th and 6th July. During this period, the traffic from three lanes will merge into one, causing potential delays for those heading towards Klang.In Stage 2, the fast lanes for both Klang and Kuala Lumpur-bound traffic will be closed on 12th and 13th July.
