Gallery owner Romany Kramoris expressed her excitement over the artwork, saying, “My reaction was, ‘Oh my God! That’s great! It’s just great!’” she told Kramoris, fondly known as the “Queen of Sag Harbor” after operating her gallery for 44 years, added that the piece has become the gallery’s “most contemporary” work.
The gallery has sold “two or three” of the works at $520 each so far, and, “a lot of people are coming back,” Kramoris said.is set to continue as scheduled, with upcoming shows in Chicago and New York City before embarking on an overseas leg in late July.
