Celebrating Independence Day at Fabulous Phoenix Fourth

PHOENIX — The 36th annual Fabulous Phoenix Fourth fireworks show will kick off on the Fourth of July. Paulina Bustamante, recreation coordinator for the City of Phoenix, said this year they're expecting anywhere between 40 to 80 thousand people.

Bustamente said with the triple-digit temperatures they recommend bringing water and other items to keep cool. Bustamante said entertainment will include local and national talent, as well as food vendors and a veterans village area. Bustamante also shared there is no public parking and that they encourage people to take the light rail or other public transportation to get to the event safely.
