BERN, Switzerland — Grammy-winning pop star Pink, currently performing in Europe as part of her Summer Carnival Tour, canceled a show scheduled for today in Switzerland, citing unspecified health issues.
“I do everything I can to ensure I can perform for you every night, but after consultation with my doctor and exploring all options available, I’ve been advised that I’m unable to continue with the show tomorrow,” the post says. “I was looking forward to being with you and making memories with you and sharing our show with you and am so disappointed that we have to cancel.”Her post did not say if her health will affect a planned concert on Saturday in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Pink, 44, broke out as a superstar in 2001 with the hit “Get the Party Started” from her second album, Missundaztood. The album sold more than 13 million copies. She has gone on to sell more than 60 million albums during her career. Among her honors are three Grammys and seven Billboard Music awards. She will be eligible for induction in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next year.
