The Inbetweeners first aired in the UK in 2008, followed by two spin-off films - but it turns out Americans have only just discovered the joys of the E4 comedy show

The British sitcom The Inbetweeners, which first aired on E4 in 2008 and led to two spin-off films due to its immense popularity, is now gaining traction in the US.

Despite an American adaptation of The Inbetweeners being launched in 2012, it was cancelled by MTV after just one season of 12 episodes. However, Andy Padilla, an American TikTok user, has dedicated his account to the original British comedy. He further revealed: "I've only found it last week, I'm in Texas. I don't know many people who have heard of it."
