JOE was lucky enough to chat to the directors in the lead-up to the release of the movie, and they did confirm that whatever the next step is for the MCU, they won't be a part of it: "But we're at the end of our cycle here. So we definitely had a sense of finality in this movie, both for us on a personal level, but also for many people for many reasons."
