The Killing Eve actress, 31, was announced in April to be starring in the second sequel to the 2002 film 28 Days Later, with Danny Boyle returning as director.
Jodie Comer looked distressed as she was seen on the set of 28 Years Later for the first time in Northumberland on Tuesday According to an interview with ELLE UK, Jodie has been looking back at old episodes of Cheryl on The X Factor to master the twang. Both Danny and Alex are producing the new project alongside Andrew Macdonald, Peter Rice and Bernie Bellew, while Cillian is an executive producer.
Alongside Murphy, other stars that were cast in the movie included Naomie Harris, Christopher Eccleston, Megan Burns and also Brendan Gleeson. Jodie starred as Mother in the movie adaptation of Megan Hunter's novel which sees her character navigating motherhood for the first time during a terrifying apocalyptic flood.
