Jurgen Klopp has sent a message to former Liverpool loanee Nuri Sahin as he follows in his managerial footsteps.
Sahin worked as Terzic's assistant before his predecessor's exit and was on the touchline for the Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid at Wembley Stadium in May. Now Dortmund have named Sahin as their new head coach on a three-year deal that runs until 2027. Sahin was signed by Liverpool on loan from Real Madrid in 2012 by former manager Brendan Rodgers. After just 12 appearances for the Reds, Sahin's loan spell lasted just six months before he returned to Madrid in January 2013.
