Stephen’s last show on SAFM will be on 31 July, after six years.
“It has been the honour of my professional life to speak to the entire nation every morning over the last six years, and I have learnt an incredible amount from presenting SAfm Sunrise. I will deeply miss the Sunrise team, our listeners and particularly our callers,” said Stephen according to the statement.Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Stephens went on to say that he is sad to be leaving.
“I’m honoured to have had the chance to present #SAfmSunrise for over six years and I’m sad to be leaving. @safmradio. It’s been the most incredible privilege to speak to the nation every morning and to be a part of the national debate,” he wrote..
